BCTC EARNS MICROSOFT DESIGNATIONS
The Computer Information Systems-Applications program at Berks Career and Technology Center has earned official certifications from the Microsoft Corporation. The program, which prepares high school and adult students for careers in the information technology field, received Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification, and became a Microsoft Authorized Testing Center and Microsoft Authorized Academic Training Program.
Microsoft Office User Specialist certification is a nationally recognized standard that provides "specialist" or "expert" certification in Microsoft Office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
As a Microsoft Authorized Testing Center, Berks Career and Technology Center is qualified to provide testing and certification to BCTC students and the Berks County community. The Microsoft Authorized Academic Training Program designation enables BCTC to teach and certify students in areas leading to specialization in computer networking.
