FOUR STUDENTS RAISE $400 FOR CHARITY
Four Health Occupations students of Berks Career and Technology Center, West Campus completed a community awareness project by raising money for the National Spina Bifida Association. Beth Dysput, Governor Mifflin senior, Jessica Stuebner, Hamburg Area junior, Amber Adam, Schuylkill Valley junior, and Stephanie Heckman, Hamburg Area senior, organized numerous fund-raisers at the school and in the community. A check for $400 was presented to the Spina Bifida Association in Quarryville on March 22, 2001. The students will include this project in their competitive efforts at the Pennsylvania Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Conference to be held next month in Lancaster.
