- Refrigerant Transition & Recovery (EPA)
This course utilizes ACCA and Penn College of Technology curriculum materials to prepare technicians for the EPA Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Examination. Each student receives a copy of the Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Manual. Topics include:
- Environmental Impact of CFC’s and HCF’s
- The Changing Industry Outlook
- Recovery Techniques
- Shipping
- Laws and Regulations
- Leak Detection
- Safety
- Disposal
- PA Safety Inspection Mechanic
Individuals who are at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license can make application to this program which prepares the student to become a Certified PA Inspection Mechanic in 1, 2, or 3 categories. It is recommended that applicants have an understanding of basic auto mechanics, including brakes and alignment, to succeed in this program. Classes consist of three 4-hour group sessions. - Optional Tools Class
This 4-hour class held just before the tactile exam and available only to those enrolled in the PA Vehicle Safety Inspector Mechanic course, will prepare you for the hands-on portion of your Inspector Certification exam. It is a good review for seasoned mechanics and an excellent learning opportunity for those with little experience. Ask for details when you register.
- SERVSAFE®
Designed for Food Service Managers,Supervisors and all employees handling and serving food, this course will prepare you for the examination for SERVSAFE® Certification. The course fee includes book and exam. Recertification testing also available.18 Hrs. - $210.
- PA Vehicle Emissions Inspector
This training program is mandated by the PA Department of Transportation for all inspectors and automotive repair technicians. Fee includes all instructional materials and exam. Call for MV501 application, 610-743-7630.

Re-certification is require within 6 months of the anniversary of your certification as an Emission Inspector. The course is 4 hours followed by a test. Call for MV501 application, 610-743-7630.
- PA Dental Assistant (CDA)
To become a Certified Dental Assistant you must have been a full-time Dental Assistant for at least 2 years and you must pass the Dental Assisting Certification Examination. While your practical experience in the dental office is of tremendous benefit, much of the information you will need to pass the certification exam has not been taught to you through practical, on-the-job training. This course will prepare you for what to expect when taking the exam and for the many factual topic areas covered in the exam, such as anatomy, dental materials, infection control, and radiology. The instructor is a Certified Dental Assistant. Book included.
