They are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more.
All courses run for six weeks, with a two-week grace period at the end. Two lessons are released each week. You do not have to be present when the lesson is released, but you must complete each lesson within two weeks of its release. The cost for most courses is $99.
If you have been curious about eLearning, and want to get your feet wet with online courses, these short classes are a great place to start. There's something for everyone. You'll find courses in over 300 topic areas.
Career Training Programs (CTP)
In partnership with Ed2Go, CTP offers a wide variety of certificate programs. These online programs are longer in length, more intensive in their scope, and provide an overall education that may lead you to a new occupation.
We offer in-depth, career training courses in association with Ed2Go (formerly Gatlin), the world's largest provider of online, instructor-supported training to colleges, universities and trade schools. You can begin these courses whenever you like since there are no set start dates. These web-based programs are designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional caliber positions for many in-demand occupations.
Coursework is completed independently, but instructors are actively involved in the students' online learning experience. They respond to any questions or concerns as well as encouraging and motivating students to succeed. Each program has a set of lessons and tests; grades are a combination of computer-graded tests and the instructor's evaluation of the students' work. Students love the quality as well as the convenience of anytime, anywhere learning.
