Robert served as the Parliamentarian for the SkillsUSA organization. In 2015 he competed at the state level where he placed 5th. The following year, he placed 2nd at the district level. In 2018, he took home the gold at both districts and states. In June, 2018, Robert will head to Louisville Kentucky to compete at the national level.

During his time at BCTC, Robert has earned many certifications such as Gastite, Trac Pipe, Flush Shield, UPONOR, OSHA and NCCER. He was selected as a "BCTC Student of the Quarter" and received the "Perfect Attendance Award."

Robert has graciously participated in several volunteer services. These include the Aulenbach Cemetery Maintenance, Restoring Hope, and the Wellness Center for Pets & Their People.

After graduating from high school, Robert plans to continue working for TM Heating & Cooling for a background in HVAC, and to develop further skills.

Robert has enjoyed the hands-on aspect of BCTC and feels as if it has prepared him for the real world. When asked to write a quote about BCTC in his own words, he said, "BCTC helped me take the next step to pursuing a fulfilling career."

Your future is bright, Robert!
